We reached out to Island Buzz Tours Nevis to make arrangements for an island tour. Despite the late hour, Michael Morton responded and helped us set up a tour for the next day. Michael was an outstanding tour guide. His love and appreciation of Nevis were evident as he shared his vast knowledge of the island’s rich history and culture with us. It was as if we were experiencing many of the events firsthand as this great ambassador explained them to us. We visited every place promised and walked away with a new appreciation of Nevis. Michael was very accommodating when we expressed an interest in getting some local bakery goods. We stopped at a bakery and got some delicious local eats. Yum!! I recently did the hike and waterfall tour with Michael in Nevis with my friend, and it was a wonderful experience! The trail was scenic and not too challenging, winding through lush rainforest with beautiful views along the way. The waterfall at the end was stunning and refreshing , perfect for a quick swim and soak. Michael was friendly and knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts about the island’s plants and wildlife. Highly recommend this tour if you want to enjoy Nevis’ natural beauty up close!

I was quite nervous to do this hike, but DèJhaun guided us carefully every step of the way. Be prepared for a steep trek up and a very tricky way down. I would not suggest to do this hike without an experienced guide, as most will need help with footwork and how to use the ropes effectively and safely. Also, the hike is a muddy one and the vista will more than likely be cloud covered. All that said, I would recommend for anyone up for a challenge!Posted onVerified Awesome Climb of Mount Nevis Climbing Nevis Peak was an unforgettable experience! The hike was challenging but absolutely worth it for the stunning views along the way and sense of accomplishment at the top. The rain made parts of the trail quite technical, especially on the way down, but we always felt safe with Michael’s expert guidance. The hike is definitely a challenging uphill scramble for much of the way, but Michael’s calm and confident demeanor made all the difference. (Pro Tip if you’re at the Four Seasons they will clean your muddy hiking shoes for $15, well worth it as they came back cleaner than when we started)I consider myself a fairly experienced hiker, but there were definitely sections where I would have turned back if it hadn’t been for Michael’s support. He was patient, attentive, and always prioritized our safety.Although we didn’t get the iconic view from the summit due to the weather, Michael went above and beyond by taking photos and videos throughout the hike and sharing them with us afterward—a really thoughtful touch! He was also super responsive to our questions before the hike, which made planning easy and stress-free. I am not a novice hiker but I have to admit that I was intimidated by the reviews of this hike.After arrival, the hotel connected me with Michael Morton, who immediately took my fears away with saying “There is nothing to worry about”.
