We booked the Adventure Dating services, which is an exploration of the waterfalls and a private space for you and your partner to enjoy sometime together after or before the hiking. We had wine, treats and flower petals in the private space with music to set the mood. Island Buzz Tours really surprised us as we didn’t expect all this romance.

Nevis Waterfalls Hike
We had a wonderful experience last weekend on a waterfall hike led by Michael Morton of Island Buzz Tours. We were part of a group that included people of different ability levels, and Michael managed to accommodate every one of us, paying attention to the varied needs of each. He is a trained and experienced guide who combines his professionalism with exceptional personal qualities: intelligence, good humor, warmth, and compassion. As the oldest, and slowest, people in our group, we greatly appreciated his patience and kindness! Michael is proficient in the identification of local plants and their traditional medicinal uses, and eager to share his knowledge. His enthusiasm for the richness of the natural world of his island is contagious. Michael offers a wide variety of tours and services on Nevis, and we hope to take advantage of more of these in future. We would encourage anyone wanting an authentic experience of Nevis to contact Michael. You couldn’t ask for a better or more pleasant guide.

My husband and I recently visited Nevis for our honeymoon. Our goal was to do several hikes throughout the island with a knowledgeable, professional, and most of all, fun guide who could really take us on an adventure. Michael Morton was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we met him, we knew he would show us a great time, teach us about the island, and challenge us to a rigorous and beautiful hike. Michael shared all his knowledge about the island’s beauty, nature, history, and his vision for the future. We spent the morning with Michael and took an educational and fun hike to the water falls. This is definitely a tour we highly recommend. The hike was mostly easy with some challenging parts towards the end. Michael was sure to give us our options towards the top. He was pleasant, attentive and informative guide. So today I went on a hike/climb to the beautiful mountain in #nevis; Nevis Peak! It was a tough one but fun. It showed me that once I put my mind to it, I can achieve it! There I was clambering over rocks and roots, never having done anything like that before and having arthritis in my hips! Our tour guide Michael of Island Buzz Tours Nevis was amazing! Anytime that you’re in Nevis don’t hesitate to contact Michael, he’s the man! The weather was marvelous and the views to die for! #NevisNice.

Michael Morton, “the tour guy”, very knowledgeable of the area. Its flora, fauna, history and extremely patient and respectful. Highly recommended. Ask him to take you to the waterfalls, specially in the rainy season.

Always such a good experience with Michael!! I did the 7 Waterfalls & Saddle Hill Hike and he was consistently helpful and patient with my Mum, friend and I, whilst keeping our safety first, especially when I was slipping. He has a deep knowledge of the islands history and plants too, so you’ll learn a lot. I highly recommend Island Buzz Tours, the best hiking guide to immerse yourself in nature with.

We did water falls trail with Michael. It was a fantastic experience. He gave us a very good idea about plants and trees in the rain forest. The trail gets tricky after the 1st and 2nd falls. However with Michael’s guidance we were able to go all the way through. I highly recommend Island Buzz Tour.

Sea Scooter Snorkeling
I always wanted to experience life under the ocean and when I found out about the scooter tour. I knew that this was going to be my chance. This excursion was so good that I just know I will do it again. Now at first I have to admit I was nervous but by the time we finished our brief training, it was all good. Michael was super informative and answer any questions I had. He even made sure to stop at certain points so I didn’t miss the chance of seeing some of the oceans gems. Highly recommended tour and I am more than happy to reminisce on adventure.

Michael was the absolute best guide for the Nevis Peak experience. He was so friendly. He made sure to stop and point out unique plants and trees along the way, explaining how they ended up in Nevis, and shared a lot of interesting history with us. We were not the fastest group, and he never once was impatient or frustrated with us. I highly recommend booking any excursion with Michael. He really wants to make your experience in Nevis, a memorable one, and he will do everything in his power to do so!

Nevis Waterfalls Hike
We had a fantastic waterfall hike this morning- Michael was very knowledgeable about the area, pointing out interesting points about the plants and the forest. He was excellent at helping us with where to tread and advising us about the difficulty of the hike at different stages. He also kindly gave great recommendations for places to eat and other activities in Nevis!
The hike to the first two waterfalls was fairly light but there is a more challenging climb to see the further few waterfalls.
A really fantastic experience and I would fully recommend touring with Michael!

Highly recommend Michael at Island Buzz Tours. We did Nevis Peak Hike with Michael. He responded to my initial email inquiry within minutes and kept in communication up until the day of the hike. He was accommodating and even helped us with transportation from the the boat dock to the trail head. He was very knowledgeable about the fauna, animals, and even the history of St. Kitts and Nevis, as well as, the surrounding islands. Michael kept us engaged throughout and made this challenging hike a super enjoyable experience.

Definitely not for the faint of heart. Ropes Mud Rock climbing Amazing views Heart pounding ascent Worth hiring a guide…yes. I found Micheal to be knowledgeable about the flora and fauna he added a completely different level to the hike all while keeping us safe.

We did the waterfall hike with our 7 and 9 year old kids and it was a wonderful experience. Our guide, DeJhaun, was so knowledgeable about the plants and ensured our kids were able to safely navigate the hike. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to spend a morning surrounded by a beautiful rainforest and learning about the wonders of nature.

Island Buzz Tours was an absolutely amazing tour. Even though I grew up in Nevis and left years ago, I was still able to learn a whole lot more. We did the Russell’s Rest hike with Mike and loved every minute of it. It was inspiring to see someone so dedicated to learning, teaching & preserving nature and Nevis’s history. The hike is of moderate intensity with a couple of slippery spots and decent inclines at times. Mike is very kind & knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Sea Scooter Snorkeling
We booked the water scooter adventure last minute and Michael was great! I was too afraid to complete for full adventure but my son did and he saw a sea turtle, a lot of different fish, squid and sting ray. I stayed in the shallow water but was still able to see plenty of fish. I would book with Island Buzz Tours again.

I would 100% recommend Island Buzz Tours if you’re looking to do something active. They have a range of excursions on both St. Kitts & Nevis. Michael is everything you want in a guide – he is responsive over message, clearly passionate about the islands and will take care of you and your group throughout your trip. Nevis Waterfalls Hike

We did the waterfall hike with Michael. He was a great tour and hike guide. He talked about history, local culture, plant life, and history of the hiking path itself. He was very kind, considerate, attentive and we had a great hike with him. It rained the day before and the day of our hike, so the falls were great! We did get pretty wet, so be prepared with a dry bag, or just pack light and wear clothing and footwear you’ll be comfortable in if wet (and dirty, obviously). Most phones anymore are reasonably water resistant, and mine was fine in my pocket despite me being soaked through.

There are varying degrees of intensity for the hike. The last couple falls we held off due to raining and it does require you to effectively climb near vertical with hand ropes. Otherwise the rest was pretty simple, save for moderately challenging on the 2nd half.

Maybe next time I’ll be prepared enough for the peak hike, which is more climb than hike, from what we were told!

Nevis Peak Hike
I did the Nevis peak hike (climb, let’s be honest!) with Be-Andre & Zach and I had a fabulous time. Yes, it was hard work & my hands & shoulders felt it the following day (lots of climbing up ravines using hands and ropes) but it was a great experience and despite it having rained and us climbing through the clouds, the clouds cleared for a few minutes at the top to let me see the view ❤️ Be-Andre & Zach were great guides, very focused on my safety & I always felt very safe on what is at times a difficult ascent & a challenging descent. It was muddy & slippery in places but Be-Andre & Zach went ahead of me, pointing out the right footholds, which roots were safe, where to use the ropes, how to cross the Devil’s crack (!), watching where I was going. Yes, I’m fairly fit as I regularly run and do strength training, yes, I had the right shoes & clothes on – but this is not an excursion you could sensibly do on your own – you need guides like Be-Andre & Zach. I wholeheartedly recommend Island Buzz Tours’ Nevis Peak hike.
